This area of the site focuses on the figures I have used, and the characters that they have become. It also contains links to the manufacturers of Wild West figures in the UK.

Blaze of Glory is a miniature based game using 25/28mm figures from  several different suppliers. It would be possible to play B/O/G with smaller figures e.g. 15mm but I feel it would not have the same visual appeal as the bigger, more detailed figures which I use. If you wanted to use 15mm then I recommend Peter Pig miniatures, as they produce a massive range.  It is not necessary to have masses of figures to start with as a game could consist of as few as 6-8 figures. This meant the initial outlay was minimal and we were able to start to play with painted figures very quickly.

All of the miniatures are based on 1p pieces. Some of the solid bases that the figures are on are different thickness', but this has made little difference it just makes some models slightly taller.

All my figures are undercoated black and I use Citadel Acrylic paints.

The main suppliers that I have bought figures from are in no order of preference, Wargames Foundry, Old Glory and Dixon. I'm sure there are other companies that make Old West figures, but between them these guys have pretty much got it covered, the pictures on the following pages will have a variety of figures from these companies, when they are all painted of course, so don't hold your breath.
